To enable us to optimize our websites for your requirements, we use web analysis tools.

Web analysis with google Analytics

This website uses Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google Ireland Limited („Google“), Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Irland. Google will use this information on behalf of the operator of this website for the purpose of evaluating your use of the website, compiling reports on website activity for website operators and providing them other services relating to website activity and internet usage.
The IP-address, that your Browser conveys within the scope of Google Analytics, will not be associated with any other data held by Google. You may refuse the use of cookies by selecting the appropriate settings on your browser, however please note that if you do this you may not be able to use the full functionality of this website. App analysis with Google Analytics for Firebase

We use the Google Analytics for Firebase analysis tool to optimise and continuously improve the Bürkert resistApp for you. You can prevent data processing by Google Analytics for Firebase by adjusting the settings in the App in the data protection area.

Bürkert resistApp

The Bürkert resistApp is installed from the technical providers iTunes or the Google Play Store subject to their respective terms and conditions. If you install the app from iTunes, the provider is Apple Inc., 1 Infinite Loop, Cupertino, California, USA 95014. You will download the app using the Apple ID that you created for yourself. To do this, you must already have agreed to Apple's terms and conditions. You can find detailed information about the Apple privacy policy at https://www.apple.com/legal/privacy/en-ww/. Google Play provides information and its privacy policy at https://www.google.com/policies/privacy/.

Google Ads

This website uses the online advertising program Google Ads, which also includes the conversion tracking function. As part of this function, Google Ads places a cookie on your computer if you access our website from a Google advertisement. These cookies expire after 30 days and are not used for personal identification purposes. If the user visits specific pages of our website before the cookie has expired, we and Google can see that the user clicked on the advertisement and was forwarded to this website. Every Google Ads customer is assigned a different cookie. This means that cookies cannot be traced through the websites of Ads customers.

The information obtained with the help of the conversion cookie is used to compile conversion statistics for Ads customers who have opted to use conversion tracking. The customers can see the total number of users who clicked on their advertisement and were forwarded to a web page containing a conversion tracking tag. However, they do not receive any information that can be used to identify users personally.

If you wish to opt out of the tracking process, you can easily deactivate the Google conversion tracking cookie in the user settings of your Internet browser. You will then not be included in the conversion tracking statistics. You can read more about the Google privacy policy at http://www.google.de/policies/privacy/

Use of Google Maps

This website uses Google Maps, a map service provided by Google Inc., Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA in order to show an interactive map. Through the use of Google Maps, information about your use of this website (including your IP address) may be transmitted to a Google server in the USA and stored there. It is possible that Google will transfer the information gained to third parties where this is prescribed by law or in so far as third parties process this data on behalf of Google. It is only when you yourself actively click on the interactive map that your Internet browser establishes a connection to the Google servers. You can find further information about data processing by Google here: https://www.google.com/policies/privacy/

Our social media presence / processing of data by social networks

We maintain publicly accessible profiles on social media. The individual social networks that we use are listed below. Social networks such as Facebook are generally able to comprehensively analyse your user behaviour if you visit their website or a website with integrated social media content (such as like buttons or advertising banners). Visiting our social media profiles triggers a variety of processes in which data is processed in a manner that is relevant for data protection purposes. Specifically:

If you are logged into a social media account and visit our social media profile, the operator of that social media platform can link your visit to your user account. Your personal data may also be collected under certain circumstances even if you are not logged in and/or have no account with the social media platform in question. Such data is collected for example through cookies that are saved on your end device or through the collection of your IP address. Data collected in this fashion allows the operators of social media portfolio to create user profiles that log your preferences and interests. This allows targeted interest-driven advertising to be presented to you on and outside of the social media platform. If you have an account with that social network, targeted interest-driven advertising may be displayed on all devices where you are or were logged in to that account. Please also note that we are unable to verify all processing performed on social media platforms. Depending on the provider, it is therefore possible that other processing may be performed by the operators of these social media platforms. For more details, please refer to the Terms of Use and Privacy Policy of the social media platform in question.

Lawful basis

Our social media profiles aim to provide information through the internet. This is a legitimate interest within the meaning of Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. Analysis processes initiated by the social networks may be governed by other lawful bases, disclosure about which falls within the obligations of the social network operators (e.g. consent under Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR).

Data controller and exercise of rights

If you visit one of our social media profiles (e.g. Facebook), we are responsible jointly with the operator of the social media platform for the data processing activities triggered during this visit. You may exercise your rights (information, correction, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and complaints) either through us or through the operator of the social media platform (e.g. through Facebook). Please note that despite our joint responsibility with the social media platform operators, we are unable to fully influence how data is processed on these social media platforms. Our abilities are dictated largely by the company policies of the provider in question.

Duration of storage

Data that we directly collect through the social media platform will be deleted by our systems once the purpose of their processing no longer applies, if you demand that we erase it or if you revoke consent. Cookies stored on your end device will remain there until you delete them. This does not affect any compelling statutory requirements - in particular retention periods.

We have no influence over how long your data is stored by the operators of social networks for their own purposes. Please contact the operators of the social networks directly for more details on this (e.g. through their Privacy Policy, see below).

This process is used for statistical purposes among other things. In cases where we are aware that the IP address is stored, we will draw our users’ attention to this fact.
